Ever since I can remember, I have been drawn to fashion. I left my native Malaga in Spain to study at Barcelona and later went on to the Istituto Marangoni, in Milan, thanks to a scholarship. I started to work in the fashion industry right away, living in different cities in Europe and US. Yoga has always been an inspiration, a pulsion and a daily routine. So both passions materialize in SusanHappy Yoga collection. The idea of producing beautiful, ethical and desirable pieces you could wear in and out of practice began to take shape in Miami in 2016.
We started making handmade Pune shorts with special attention to the quality of the fabric and working closely in detail the manufacturing process. With ethical manufacturing and sustainability in mind, we decided to use eco-friendly bamboo, an extremely comfortable material, and produce the garments locally. We go over every detail to ensure durability and monitor all the aspects of the production process to guarantee a low environmental impact.
Inspired by this basic garment, the rest of the collection started to evolve. We are obsessive about details, draw precise lines to reduce seams and enhance stretch and performance. We want our collection to be organic and alive, and we listen to our clients feedback. We avoid the overproduction for ecological reasons. We can make it on demand in the next production order if the color is still available. We firmly believe your way of consumption can change the world!!!
Our eco-friendly bamboo fabric allows a consistent stretch and smooth fabric recovery. This fabric are made from fibers that do not require the use of any pesticides or chemicals to grow. They are naturally resistant to mould and mildew and are disease free. Bamboo is one of nature´s most sustainable resources; it´s 100% biodegradable and is naturally regenerative. Bamboo grows extremely fast, up to one foot a day.
My motivation is to create quality products that become your essentials. Being honest and ethical in all procedures is our aim and our vision. We continually strive to make a quality product, a fair trade and contribute to leave a better world.
